Global Freeze Project Coming To Glendale

freezeCharles Lee and Derrick Engoy, creators of the Freeze Project, are hosting a Global Freeze Project Day on April 17, 2010. They came up with the idea for Freeze Project in 2008 as a way to bring awareness to the reality of slavery all over the world. The idea is similar to the antics of Improv Everywhere (remember the people who picked a day to ride the subway with no pants on?) in that a group of people gather together do a similar activity to catch the eyes of those around them. In the case of Freeze Project, everyone freezes on cue for five minutes, then hands out information to those around them about the injustices of slavery. Read the full story »
