I don’t mean to sway your vote, but do you remember The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats? I LOVED that book as kid. Here’s a description to jog your memory:

“In this Caldecott Award winning book, sparkling with atmosphere, a small boy named Peter experiences the joy of a snowy day. First published in 1962, this now classic book broke the color barrier in mainstream children’s publishing. It is beloved by children, by their parents, and by their grandparents. The vivid and ageless illustrations, along with the classic text, have earned this book a place in the pantheon of the greatest children’s literature ever produced in this country” (www.ezra-jack-keats.org).

Remember to vote soon because voting ends next week!
