Rainy days are perfect for scouring the Internet for freebies, and that’s just what I did. I didn’t post a freebie blog last week because there wasn’t anything interesting on our list, but this week is better. We found free ice cream, DVDs, books and more. Let Freebie Saturday begin!

Free Yoga DVD for Teachers
The Yoga Health Foundation is offering free Yoga-Recess DVDs for schoolteachers. I don’t know if the DVD is meant for teachers to share with their students or if it’s for teachers to use while theirstudents are at recess. Guess you’ll have to get one and find out! The Yoga Health Foundation is a non-profit organization registered in the State of California with a mission to promote preventive health care and to inspire a healthy lifestyle.
Free Books for Bloggers
Bloggers can get free copies of select Booksneeze products. In exchange, they ask that you read the full book and post a 200-word review on your blog and any consumer retail website. Sign up a free account with Booksneeze to get started.
Free Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream
Tuesday, March 23, 2010 is Free Cone Day! Co-founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield first scooped up free ice cream all day back in 1979 as a way to thank the community for supporting them in their first year. Now it’s an annual tradition at many scoop shops around the world. RSVP via Facebook.
Win a Makeover and a Trip to NYC
I don’t usually include info about sweepstakes, but Deal Seeking Mom posted this one, and it caught my eye. Progresso Soup is offering a makeover trip to NYC for one lucky winner and a friend. Celebrate the great taste of Progresso Soup with us and you could be headed to New York City for an all-expense paid makeover trip of a lifetime. Just tell us what you love about our Progresso Light and 100 Calorie Soups and why you want a makeover. We’ll pick 10 Finalists and the public will vote to select the winners. Click here to enter.
